So it's memorial day weekend and I'm stuck here at the apt since gas is so expensive and any plans I could have are three hours or more away each way.
Is that not the dumbest reason to no be having fun or what? bah.
Next week my best friend's son is turning 1 and so I'll be in NJ for the partay! I wish I remembered what it was like to turn 1. Then again, maybe I was just as tweaked out but over things 1 year olds get tweaked out over. Who knows?
I've been going to happy hour with the guys I work with nearly every night. I only have one drink, which is plenty for me, and it keeps my boring nights from being so lonely. I'm getting home sometimes as late as 10 on a work night and one would think that would keep me from dwelling on all the things pending in my personal life, but it only delays the inevitable.
On the bright side, it's creating a higher tolerance for booooooze. Well, I lied, it really isn't but in theory it should eventually.
