I may have jumped the gun. It seems that Gabriel is here, but maybe not to stay. He really wants to live alone & play guitar. I don't know if there is anything I can do or say at this point to persuade him to stay with the family. I have tried, but if feels like he has already made up his mind.

Troubling news. I didn't quit smoking today. I smoked 3 cigarettes. I feel like I had a good reason, though. Gabriel decided that he wants to take some time apart from me. He packed up all his stuff & left. I am not happy.

Today is "Q Day" according to the fuschia magic marker writing on my calendar. Do you know what that means? Well, the Q stands for Quitting. No more clove cigarettes for me for the duration of my pregnancy. Wish me luck because this is going to be tougher than tough.

I went to get my driver's license renewed today & they told me that they couldn't do it...that I would have to go to the state trooper's office...and they didn't know/couldn't tell me why...
