Dearest Still-Existant Boils and Ghouls...
Well...Its now Devils Night, and we will soon be into "All Saints Day"...Are you all runnin' to Church Hungover?!? I must admit...I think for some reason...There are going to be quite a few Rants, As opposed to Raves about it...Thats just what I'M Feelin...I watched bitter chat room complaints for Ten minutes...That is always fun for me...As anyplace filled with people talking loudly...passionately...and as proud as they please...So Interesting...The energy...It's like waves in an Ocean...the ebb and flow of the copius amount of Current 93's, Its like hearing an old Victrola recording of any somewhat comprimised Social Event...I can understand why the ambiguity and being annonymous is a big draw to people who certainly are not comfortable in the real world...I mean even for people, like myself, whom employ the use of computer as a way to survive...well...Theres nothing rong with wanting to socialize on it as well...Strabngely enough, I actually was terribly anti-computer for the longest time...When there were just black and green screens, dot matrix, and Anything commodore..vic.20 or 64...I was comfortable with a day Planner, a writing book, a portfolio, a couple photo Albums...But, I suppose one day it just bit me in the ass...and that was it...I turned into my own contradiction.Same way that Vinyl Died...and VHS's Are way too far into to EVER go back...There is NOT enough ANALOGUE...No PURE Distortion...Everything that we are making easier to do with computers...Is one day going to be what FUCKS us...I think The Mayans , and some other obscure ways, Figured the date to be 2012...They arent sure...but Egyptologists are also unravelling some interesting info, (Hell...Everyone is...)The things that I must live by, In this short of time...I mean, C'mon...Its obvious...We're fucked...Go ahead and Laugh...Yeah, Yeah...ANOTHER Jaded Nihilistic Fuckin Nutter...But for example...Out here, and anyone that lives on these Faults, The San Andreas Faults...Anyone in WA knows this...we are in it together...Its not a matter of IF its going to happen...Its When.
Thats life...For the path I walk, Tonight was celebrated as a New Year(Unfortunately MUCH too cold to go and do the 'SEXY SINEMATIC SCENES' Set for the group...Sorry guys...Plan B has been put into motion...FUCKING B.C WEATHER!) No resolutions, No promises made...Just the celebration of reaping in a good years effort to survive yet another one, and thanking the ones that helped you along the way.(And to think...They made costumes to wear to frighten the beings from other realms from thier debauch on this one for just one night???)
I remember having some quite rambunctious Samhains (and I hope you are pronouncing it the CORRECT way when you read it...Sow-Hain...Thats right..s..l..o..w..e..l..y..) I myself can only say that I really live in a Hallowe'en world everyday...I mean...I remember that was one of the most used subjects that has been employed in reminding me...usually loudly, and very rude, Of just how much I was off from Halloween, for example..."Hey!!..HEY!..HALLOWEEN IS STILL 7 MONTHS AWAY" or the ambiguous "DON'T YA' KNOW HALLOWEEN IS OVER???) If I had a nickle...I know I don't look it now...But there was my "Sixteen and Goth Queen" days where I wore my ALIEN SEX FIEND shirts, reading my "Tales From The Crypt" collection...I couldnt dye my hair Black...for some reason...My red hair won't allow it to be dyed permanently...So I would use 'Directions" ordered or bought in Bulk when in St.Marks Place in NYC. and Talkin bout All Hallows Eve!? MAN...We used to have to grab and pocket as much black Nail Polish and Lipstick on a "Day-After-Hallowe'en"shoppin spree...Because THAT was the only place and point in time that you could procure it that easily and well..Gosh...I think if I remenisce anymore...I am going to sound 40...(well...I AM 59...right? If this confuses you and your bored...Just look up that date...and on MY B-Day I have a List of 12 or so more...)
Anyhow...To everyone who got Trashed, Mashed, Thrashed,Bashed, Kissed, and Missed, Got some, or Lost some, To anything with anyone, Ended up drinking too much Wine, and ended up fuckingThat Ol Monster from Frankenstein, Brought up Spirits, Cursed and Hexed too, And anyone that got home Covered in Goo...I hope you got Lotsa Candy, and thats Dandy(..But Liguor is Quicker, so Willy Wonka Says...) Hope your Night of Fright, led to all a good night, and now, you will notice, as always a delight...That as soon as the Pumkins are smashed, and All Saints Day appears...We are already talkin bout Santa and the Bloody Birth of Christ!!!
But thats okay, because of years hearing them say, That for me...Hallowe'en is each fuckin day...I say Yipee! and a great Big "Thank Ye" as I wouldn't be able to do it any other way..."
