HOLY CRAP, I'm an idiot. I posted a whole friggin journal and never noticed my girl Gadget has a VIDEO UP TODAY! She text messaged me while I was in class. Duh, Goob! So I came back here to the computer lab and watched it even though there's crowds of people waiting to use the comps for their various needs... and they're all watching the screens... oooh, I'm so naughty. I'm not sure if anyone noticed the hot naked chick on my screen. I was all shady about it, with another window I floated over the naughty bits except for a *peek* every now and then.
Okay, journal:
I know, I haven't updated in days. That's so unlike me! But I am still in "gotta-do-schoolwork" mode. It helps if I don't update here so I can't be as distracted with replying to posts.
But I think I've done fairly well this week with my projects, so I will allow myself to update. Go Goob!
Here's how the classes stand:
Linguistics: A done deal. Today was the last class. I have turned in all my assignments and finished all the assigned readings. All that's left is the final next Monday, which will be a breeze, guaranteed. I predict a solid A. It has been an awesome class, and I am sad to see it end.
Cultural Anthropology: All the reading is done, and I've set up a good outline for the final paper which is due next Monday. In a few minutes I will be in class for "peer review" so hopefully I'll get some more ideas for the paper. It should go pretty smoothly. No stress there.
Native American Archaeology: Still behind schedule, but not too badly. I have finished all the regular assignments and reading, but my final research paper is due today and I won't have it finished. I have a lot of material for it, and I have 3 hours before class this afternoon to compile it into something to discuss with my teacher. My topic involves a lot of stuff we were SUPPOSED to have discussed in class by now, but haven't. So I'm really unsure of my conclusions, and I'd rather have some input before I try to write 12 pages on something I don't know enough about. Hopefully I can turn that in by Wednesday. Oh, and the final next Monday won't be a problem.
Comparative Civilizations: All class material is done and over with, and there is no final. But I have a 15 page research paper and a presentation on it a week from Wednesday. That means that after the NA Arch paper is turned in, my entire world is dedicated to that one project. I have lots and lots of data to sort through, and I've finally begun to wrap my brain around it. (thank god, i was beginning to worry.)
All in all, I am less freaked out than I was last week. Whew!
I went out Saturday with the new guy. It's nice to ignore the responsibilities for a little while. We went and saw "Hitchhiker's Guide" which I really liked in spite of all the changes. Then we spent the next 15 hours (approximately) having sex. With breaks, of course. haha! As far as that goes, we've discussed the potentials of a relationship and decided we're gonna try for something exclusive and see if it works. He tossed out the word "girlfriend" but I'm still skittish. In any case, we've agreed not to mess with other people for a while. Oh- but he doesn't mind what I do with women. Score!
I'll probably edit this later. Gotta get to class.

YAY for the finishing up of school. Hmmm, looking at SG on the computer lab computers, and possibly getting caught being a naughtie girl....bad girl, you should be spanked.
