we were in on the italian riviera for my birthday,
sooo amazing. but the
cake was dry. wine was good though, and only 2 euros
a bottle, made with
grapes grown in town. we had fresh homemade pasta and
fresh pesto, really
good, and fish with a head on it with little teeth.
in bologna now waiting on a connection. tomorrow we
go to switzerland to
stay at some chalet in the alps, then we go to paris
to stay with katies
cousin, then london then home. ill be home thursday
night and i have so
many great pictures.
ill miss the bean dip though.

I almost cried from jealousy.
It's all okay though... I am snug in my Little Apartment and quite content. Last night's Movie Night was odd but I had a great time. Very few people came, and they all showed up late, but it was a nice chill evening. I got to hang out with some friends I don't see often. I wish I knew how to gather people more effectively. Is there any way to get people to come to my place BEFORE 10pm? I can't figure out how. A few people didn't even show up until after midnight. I didn't even get to sleep until after 5am. Then I had to work at 9:30. That's okay... I got less than 4 hours sleep but I feel good. Sometimes sleep deprivation is a healthy thing. I was going to take a nap, but maybe I won't. I feel really content today to watch the snow pile up outside while I laze around inside. I have a movie to watch.

They're not kidding. I'm glad I won't be going hiking until next weekend. This is some crazy shit here. Work closed early today, of course... I was out of there by 12:30. If this is truly as bad as they predict, I wonder if my restaurant will be closed tomorrow. I'm supposed to work tomorrow night, but man, if they are open, it's gonna be empty and I won't make shit.
I just ate my leftover Bertucci's pizza, but it wasn't enough. Hmmm... I'm kind of craving french toast. All this talk about it... I guess it's time. 
I have some really tasty whole-grain bread, and blackberry jelly. Eggs, no prob. Milk? I have soy milk. That will have to do.
