Oh, boy... here we go again...
Goob is in Ladybug gear. Once again, I am feeling fat and gaudy. Don't worry- you guys have sent me enough "fan mail" that I can still leave my house wearing this. Man, next year I am gonna wear a full-length cloak and a mask. No ass and titties on display, thank you very much. It's kind of humiliating in a way. "Here is my body. Judge me."
Tonight will be very different from DodRaibeid's party. There, I didn't know very many people, and the ones I did know were people I met on a porn site. Tonight, I am going to two parties.
The first is a group of friends I used to hang out with three to four years ago, but only occasionally see anymore (only for parties, really). Last time I went to their house, I felt like an outsider. I think it was mostly me- I wasn't really in a Goobish mood and I couldn't get into the vibe. It's hard to be at a party where most people know each other and every conversation is a private joke or topic I know nothing about... it was uncanny how everyone was talking about schools I didn't go to, people I didn't know, bands I never heard of... Hopefully tonight will be different. I am kind of nervous to arrive in such a revealing costume... what if I'm in terrible bad taste?
The second party is at my sister's house. My Granny will be watching the baby for the evening so my whole family will be there- both sisters and my stoner parents. Plus all of my sister's friends and her boyfriend's people as well. Now, the parents are one issue... last year my mom got so drunk at this halloween party that she was vomiting in the kitchen sink shortly after midnight. My dad put her in the car but stayed to party until 4am. Hopefully they won't be too embarrassing this year. Luckily, Gadget will be there with her Toaster and aragorn97, so I will be among friends. But there will also be an abnormally high percentage of petty, obnoxious delinquents. Now, don't get me wrong... I like obnoxious delinquents... in moderation. I just hope they don't get petty.
I know I am worried over nothing- my sister and her boyfriend throw some kick-ass parties. And the parties the other crew used to have back in the day were some of the best times of my life. I am sure I will be back tomorrow with an update of how awesome it all was, I had such a great time, yada yada yada...
