Ahhh.... I've had too much coffee... or in another way you could say I've had enough.
I'm working in overdrive, reading and planning and soon to be typing a four-page paper on recent US history. You know, as much as I complain about the stress of writing and the deadlines and the research and all that... I really do love it. I admit it.
The fact that I finished the other project on time gave me inspiration and confidence to get the other 2 projects done. That one was the most intense. So now I'm power-reading a book on the history of the war on drugs and on page 200 I had a kind of revelation. My topic materialized and I seriously got high thinking of it. I can so easily write 4 pages on this. Oh yes. I'm gonna read a bit more and perhaps write the first page or so, then take a shower and work on the other project for a while. That one's gotta be 10 pages but I have 4 written already. Yeah, they're both due tomorrow. But I slept so much yesterday that I can sleep much less tonight.
I just hope my caffeine high lasts.
You know what else is awesome about these intense study sessions? I put on music continuously and go through so many albums I don't listen to enough. Today I've listened to the Rolling Stones "Beggars Banquet", Verve Pipe "Villains", Oasis "What's the Story Morning Glory" and now the Murmurs "Pristine Smut". I have Liz Phair "whitechocolatespaceegg" coming up next.
Fuck. I'm still craving eggs for breakfast and I'm not even hungry and it's not breakfast time.
Maybe I will have eggs on Friday.
