Well holy mother...

My boss hit me with a bombshell today... We were sitting having lunch, and she brings up this:

She was in talks with another (larger) design firm, who is interested in taking over everything about our company. What this means is... I may by the end of June have a new job with a higher profile design firm. Same salary, and hours, just different... I would be in charge of transfering ALL our clients over to their systems. I will only be on a 3 month contract with them to start though... So this means, I have to prove that I am worthy of employment with this takeover company. I meet with the president on wednesday, and if I do well, the deal goes through...

I'm very excited about this, and extremely frightened aswell. You know, when you get so used to something, then you have a curveball thrown at you, and you are all flabbergasted... Its scary doing new things, but it's what makes life interesting I suppose. I knew that this would happen sooner or later, but I thought maybe in a few years, I didn't expect it to happen so soon.
