I can't wait for the burlesque show. Should be tons of fun.
I missed the fireworks pretty much. Saw some of it, but my heart wasn't really in it to watch. The fourth has never been a good day for me. It's like the anniversary of the lowest point mentally and emotionally state I've had like 8 years ago....so every year it's a reminder of how I felt at that point. anyway...

that it might be in the U.S until I checked your page. We do have Japanese communities - but in this commercially backward little country there is no guarantee that they will be stocked there either. Drives me nuts this attitude thgat certain products or flavours are seemingly 'forbidden' from being sold/made in certain countries. Btw I know what you mean about prereading - sometimes stuff makes perfect sense when I'm writing it but then later I glance at my comment/journal:..... 
But I love the reference to spinning lesions I knew what you meant but just occasionally, typo's have their own charm - I go for surreal humour, intentional or not.
