after the news of no raise...no bonus...i went in today and asked for a transfer...it looks like i will be going to sarasota florida....its not in writing yet,and i will have to step down to supervisor...but then i dont intend to stay long.....i will find something else once i get settled...this time im going to use them

Dude that sucks. I hate managers that think reviews should be on bell curve. If eveyone did above average then everyone should get an above average rating and raise.... It's not like they want to hire and keep below average employees. Honestly, I think the majority of managers get their managment style by watching Mr. Spacely on the Jetsons. I have been with my company almost 7 years and they have yet to give me my goal before the last week of quarter. If I get a bonus it is based on how much my boss likes me the day before. Total BS.

feeling better......my boss gave his two week notice today,he was a good guy;no telling who or what kind of mgr will replace him.....so my days could be numbered also...could be the change im looking for..

Your Right CHANGE IS GOOD. As to your comment bout playing in louisville we've been trying to get in down there but it seems everytime we get a contact they always back out. I don't see what the problem is everywhere we go we always get asked back, and we usually catch the crowd off guard then after we're done they always want more. Sorry, if that sounds arrogant but I've been in a ton of bands and I'm not really used to this reaction on and off stage. As for the scene around Indy, they don't support shit, but we gotta do what we gotta do. Hope you catch the Carmel show.

i always thought my daughter would take care of me when i get to my twilight years...you know live in the basement..but i think its going to be the other way around..i'll be taking care of her and(husband,boyfriend )when im 70...she still has no job..no license...and not going to school(college)...but she is my baby girl

Usually kids want/need a job when they don't have any money. They need a license when they have a job they need to get to. They go to college when they realize they are working way too hard for shit pay... Eventually she will realize one or all of these things. All in due time!

Personally, I think you made the right decision. I know how hard it is to go from "cool parent" to "mean parent" in your teenagers eyes. It sucks, but I don't think you want to be a "grampy" at this stage in life, any more than I want to be a "grammy!"
