I HATE seeing iguana roadkill. I wish somehow these lil guys could get it into their lil lizard brains that they cannot beat traffic. They wanna get to the other side of the canal? Well, there's no need to go on the street. They can get across "under the bridge". No cars daown there, dammit.
Now, if only they would read this and share that...

So while I wait for LOST this night, I'm watching a show on History Channel about aliens visiting the ancient world. Now I'm not into sci-fi really, or "UFO" stuff, but some of these theories seem to make sense.
Kinda mind blowing.

it's not my handwriting and not my list! it's actually the recommended listening soundtrack to black metal by rick spears and chuck bb. i made chuck write it out for me a few years ago haha. it's been in heavy rotation again lately and to the best of my knowledge, it's not printed anywhere else and i felt guilty about not sharing it. biggrin

KICK-ASS
Roger Ebert calls KICK-ASS reprehensible. Hes probably right. But you know what? It KICKS ASS!

Yes, Kick-ASS is a violent, foul mouthed, irreverent movie. It puts young people in peril and has them saying and doing awful things. Based on the Mark Millar / John Romita Jr comic book, the movie tells the story of semi-dorky Dave Lizewski, a regular kid, who reads comics...

The last couple of weeks have been weird for two reasons. My (most recent) ex called me last Wed. out of the blue for the first time in a very long time. We had all but lost contact, except for very brief e-mails here and there, and hadnt actually spoken in a long time. It wasnt a long call, but we caught up on many...

icp are WAY outclassed by their fans though, those juggalos are some exquisite motherfuckers i hear.
this video does have my roommate running around singing about butt drugs though, so thanks for that.

i had no idea who nick cave was until i googled warren ellis several years ago, looking for the comics writer. i hit on the bad seeds, thinking that he was in a band, then found out it was a different warren ellis and fell in love with the band anyway. his work always exceeds expectations, so i'm REALLY looking forward to watching the proposition. i love westerns and nick cave, so a nick cave western might make me explode from all the love and awesomeness. lovelove
on a side note, i think metallica should've just stopped with enter sandman, honestly. i don't know why i don't like them, i just don't. some kind of monster was fucking amazing though, so at least there's that.

Pretty cool weekend, by my standards. Got to spend time with my niece & nephew. I only get to see them a few times a year (if that), so it's always a treat. It's weird seeing how they've grown and matured. She's basically an adult already and brought her bf along, which weirded me out, but he seems like a good guy. My nephew's a...

the losers is well worth your time and money. i remember stockpiling issues as they came out, which are probably worth quite a bit now, but god knows where i put them so that small fortune's just going to go unmined i suppose. it drops you right in the center of action, properly explains what's going on at a reasonable pace, fleshes out the characters in a satisfying and believable way [with the exception of aisha, who i never properly liked and always wanted to smash with a monster truck filled with lightning], and never really drags at any points. the movie looks to be more of the same thankfully, because why fix what isn't broken. they HAVE softened aisha's character quite a bit, if the trailer's to be believed, which is really the only gripe i had with the series so this movie should be made of white gold and salt water taffy.

mjolnir was the name of my best friend's puppy in my freshman year of high school. he was a little cocker spaniel who thought he was the shit, but he got hit by a car about six months after my friend got him. it was a shame because JESUS what a great name for a puppy. i don't really use the term much anymore because it bums me out, but so does matt smith's bowtie so it's not like things can get any worse.

I love visiting with family too, but my little cousins are married and not so little anymore. It makes me feel old! Glad you had a good weekend. smile

Youre younger than me, so maybe you dont remember those record plus book sets, back in the day.

It was a storybook that came with a record and you played the record and it told you when to turn the page, etc?

Remember those?

ANYWAY, I had one that was more like a comic book plus a record.

And it had the big three: Dracula,...

So it's almost time for LOST.
Kinda sad that it'll be the highlight of me day, but I'll take it.

Ok then, I have nothing else of any interest to add. Dayum, I suck.
