Pictures will come eventually, but I just wanted to say if you have never been snorkeling or scuba diving along a coral reef than you are missing out on one of the most incredible things on the planet.

Between that and swimming with the Stingrays on the sandbar, I definatly overcame my fears of the ocean and deep water and am now totally fancinated by...

Still in the Cayman Islands. Finally found a computer able to handle loading the site. Apparently this explains the lack of members from the island on the site.

Will do the full trip update apon returning to Bmore since we have places to be and things to do, most of them involving nice cool island type drinks. biggrin

I only have to work this weekend, then it's a week of vacation time in the Caymen Islands.

I'm going to be one sun fried mofo for sure, but too drunk to care most likely. biggrin

Two days off in a row, one for work and one for play.

I'm doing the un-fun but yet wise patch of doing all the housework and packing for our trip out of the way today instead of claiming to do it tomorrow when I know I'll just be busy playing video games with friends. tongue

Anyways, I feel like quoting Boondock Saints....so yeah...

"Funny man,...

Want another?

A man's car broke down as he was driving past a beautiful, old monastery. He walked up the drive and knocked on the front door of the monastery. A monk answered, listened to the man's story and graciously invited him to spend the night. The monks fed the man and led him to a tiny chamber in which to sleep.
The man thanked the monks and slept serenely until he was awakened by a strange sound. The next morning, as the monks repaired his car, he asked about the sound that woke him. The monks said, "We're sorry. We can't tell you about the sound... You're not a monk."
The man was disappointed, but eager to be gone, so he thanked the monks for their kindness and went on his way.
During quiet moments afterward, the man pondered the source of the alluring sound.
Several years later, the man was driving in the same area. He stopped at the monastery on a whim and asked admittance. He explained to the monks that he had so enjoyed his previous stay, he wondered if he might be permitted to spend another night under their peaceful roof.
The monks agreed and the man stayed. Late that night, he heard the sound. The next morning, he begged the monks to explain the sound. The monks said, "We're sorry. We can't tell you about the sound. You're not a monk."
By now, the man's curiosity had turned to obsession. He decided to give up everything and become a monk if that was the only way to learn about the sound. He informed the monks of his decision and began the long and arduous task of becoming a monk.
Seventeen years later, the man was finally established as a true member of the order. When the celebration ended, he humbly went to the leader of the order and asked to be told the source of the sound. Silently, the old monk led the new monk to a huge wooden door. He opened the door with a golden key. That door swung open to reveal a second door of silver, then a third of gold and so on until they had passed through twelve doors, each more magnificent than the last. The new monk's face was awash with tears of joy as he finally beheld the wondrous source of the mysterious sound he had heard so many years before.
But, I can't tell you what it was. You're not a monk.

Mario Kart Double Dash ownz... I need to find ppl to play it with. biggrin

For those who own or play it, what charecters do you like to use and what kart? I'm looking for some good combinations.

I've been using mostly Bowser and Paratroopa in the big Bowser kart, but have yet to even use everybody since I just got the game. tongue

The game night is officially this Thursday the 8th. Show up whenever, preferably around 7 if you want to eat. I will be home all day though if anybody wants to come earlier and doesn't want to be out late.

Some people won't be over until 9-10 due to work issues, so things will just pick up as the night goes on.

Anyone who needs...

Anyone interested in another Baltimore game night at my apartment.

The last one was quite fun.

I have Thursday the 8th and Friday the 9th off from work, so those are the two potential nights, depending on feed back from people who can come.

Please let me know when would be a better night if you would be able to attend.

There will be food...

I could probably make it Friday night. I can bring Soul Calibur 2 and Ikaruga (you passed out before I fired that one up last time wink ) again, both on GameCube. liked it. Haven't gotten anything new for that system.

I've got another game night on Saturday, too. I am the uber game geek! biggrin

Ugh, working on new years day is horrible enough, let alone when you have to move around half your inventory, reprice it for a sale, relocate the sale crap, then doll up the displays again so things look nice.

Me need sleepy...
