The Rankin/Bass movies were a HUGE part of my childhood. The Hobbit being my favorite next to Flight of Dragons with James Earl Jones as Ommadon. This scene scared me at first being 5 years old. The Peter Jackson adaptations are good but this will always be my Hobbit movie to watch. Richard Boone voicing Smaug is one of the best parts. I uploaded this, and get a laugh reading the comments.
