Yo y'all!

My account is comin' near close, and I'm not seeing many reasons to stop the cancellation.

Doing lots of sound (at the Red Sea and the Varsity Theater) and doing lots of playing of musics (with Pandora's Box Cutter and the High Crimes). On stage at the Cause tomorrow (Tuesday, 9.20.11), Lee's Liquor Lounge on Thursday (9.22.11), Portland Lakehouse on October...

Woah!

So, movin' to Lake 'n Portland, just joined The High Crimes as the new bass player, setting up recording time for Pandora's Box Cutter in the middle of June, and booked two festivals (Cannon Valley Fair and something in Wall Lake, IA) for the beginning of July. Working at the Varsity has been going great, and I'm learning lots and meeting some really...

Hey y'all dolls! Taggin' in to drop the noise:

We (Pandora's Box Cutter) get to vibrate all music-makin' like at Palmer's with the mutha-f'in Sex Rays!!!!!!!! and these wildstalliony troupe-a-gogs named Bollywood!! My love of Palmer's, the west bank, and crazyfun, be damned; I just wanna dance!

This is soooooo close, my nips are on the tickle! (next...

Ok, you sexy biahes!

Been doin' the music and livin' thing here in the Twits as hard as I can lately. Pandora's Box Cutter performed at Nick & Eddie November 29th and the Acadia Cafe on December 19th. We're still a duo, but plan on adding more kickassers, and especially a killer bassist. (Know anybody?) This is a vidya version of The Nevermen, one of...

Are they all age shows?
gnunat:
I think the Cause show is 21+, but the Medusa show tonight is definitely all age.

Also, Pandora's Box Cutter will be performing at the Red Sea on Friday, February 4th with Cardboard Dreams and Paladin Road. That'll be $5, 18+, and music starts around 8PM. (I might show my boobs)

Aaaaaaaaannnnd, anyone can see this hand, along with other related body parts, funnin' up the Acadia stage Friday, November 5th at a benefit for the Bridge for Runaway Youth. I'll be performing as Message Head that night, gettin' all foot-stompy widdit. Patrick Callan and Imaginary Jack will also kick some major ass on this bill. What grindy bluesfolk freaks! (This shit's free, yo!)
melx:
Cool, Where is the Acadia?

Checkachecka-1-2!

Yep, checks and balances, once more those two things reach levels of beguiled lethargy ambivalent enough to boobs and 50 bucks and resetting passwords and calling sg and banks that I'm still membered. woah.

Maybe I'll take up nuding myself this year, and actually make something of my paid space here.

Yo, SG world! Been a gripping grip! Gotten into some musical riffraff's since last we blogged: Aphrodisiaddicts, Pandora's Box Cutter, Message Head, and the High Crimes. Minnesota be damned!

Supper is a continuous hotel buffet.

On the road with the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, doin' the board tinkling. The midwest is bigger than people think. We've hit IL, IA, MN, and SD so far. CO, WY, KS, MO, and NE to go. Scrunched into my green pillow, I usually don't sleep until the bus starts vibrating. The air cleans up the act of it....

Tiddlywinks. This word sounds like jingling. Things around here seem pretty bouncy lately. Change is breathing in everybody's ear, and not that sexy tickle. An intoxicatingly wet slop across the conscious, sloven and articulate, explosively sublime, easin' our way home. This is what we wanted. What you wanted.

Locals: In a new band, Stratagem Wile, and takin' numbers out and about. Playin' Trocaderos two...

Bloop.

Freezing Tw'City Balls. Where's the local Holy-Fuck-My-Skin-Turned-Blue dance-'til-you-drop? Let's get on this. And candy flavored cash money. (More sweet warmbread).

Yip. Like we didn't hear that. The nervousness accompanying auditory consolidation and elastic self-effacing precepts coins itself; then we watch someone else do it. Widen the bell.

Playing the Acadia Cafe (West Bank) with some weirdos tomorrow (1.15.08, 8PM-12AM). The show is lovingly titled...
