Daylight savings always seems to creep on through my autumn. I used the extra hour to sleep, though I didn't really need it. Started the entertainment business paper: short biography on Bambaataa and Bangs. 350 words is a silly amount. I've done half of the assignment in the introduction paragraph without even introducing the Boys. Too many bullshit psychology papers under my belt.

picture it ... fall 1993 ... ok ... so i LOVE nirvana ... LOVE them ... and did since i was 13 and when i was 14 they were on their In Utero tour and were coming to Minneapolis on December 10 ... it was a friday ... and being the age that i was and living an hour and a half outside of minneapolis i was at the complete mercy of my parents .... i BEGGED them to let me go .... i even cried ... and my mother said to me ... sweetie ... we just don't know what the weather will be like and i don't want you to spend the money and then have me tell you that you can't go because we have a snow storm because then you will be even more upset .... and then she added ... how about this ... i PROMISE ... the next time that they come I will take you ... no matter what ... WELL ... he died that april ... and there will NEVER BE A NEXT TIME! .... so ... that's my nirvana story ... sad but true ... my mother never said anything like that again ... but when NIN came when I was 15 you can bet i made it to that show and many more there-after
yeah ... i also bought tickets to the Femmes one time when they were playing at first ave ... then found out it was a 21 and over show and i was not 21 or over .... very sad
