Well. Normally in my life, when I start climbing up a hill, when I get halfway up, I either fall right back down to where I started, or a hole gives way in the ground and I fall deep into a cavern, having to make my way back up to level ground.

The past few events seemed especially equal with that.

But then last night, instead of the hill caving in halfway through, I reached the top. And I'm still climbing up that ladder, high up into the sky.

No, I'm not trying to build up to a Rocket Man reference. I'm saying that for once in my life, things almost immediately got better after something bad happened to me. Better than they were before.
