Ok, the aim of this one; The new Placebo album...and...err, stuff.
firstly to grasp your attention, a picture of me a few years ago to make you go HAW HAW HAW!
Now with that out of the way, the new Placebo album, Battle for the sun.
IT'S AWESOME!!
Thank god after the debacle of their last album Meds. Not a bad album as such, just they tried to be something they're not. You still get hints of them trying to be more mainstream in this album, with flashes of horns (hur hur) and other flash bits. But at the end of it all, it's still good old Placcy-bo; Dirty lyrics, thrashing guitars and clipped basslines. As always the first track is my favorite 'Kitty litter' it makes me feel filthy listening to it and i cant wait to shove it into a set soon!
