So, while working today i believe i gained insight into the true nature of consumer evil.
You see, anyone who has worked retail can tell you that quite simply, consumer's do things and enact situations that are counterintuitive to basic human reason. Examples of this are wide and varying. Walking into a clothing store and asking if they have clothes. Asking the price of merchandise, in spite of the fact that there are at least 17 price tags on the item. All of these are minor in purpose and could potentially be attributed to sheer idiocy, but recently i've noticed situations that hint at a design to all the madness. While reshelving video games i noticed a game wedged into a placement which required effort and knowledge. This voided out the typial theory of laziness/stupidity. No no, this was premeditated, they planned this. other situations have arisen, that hint not at a random unfocused chaos, but a ordered conspiracy not seen since the days of the kennedy assasination.
It is my contention that the dark forces of "they" are alligning against all that is good and noble in the land of ratail. By driving us like-minded and logical individuals into haste and anger, they seek to keep us seperated and unfocused. Will we stand idly by while they run rampant over our secondary career choices? Will we let them discourage any attempt at a sane and comfortable working environment? To this i answer no
A rumbling has begun that echos through the hills and will reverberate like thunder. Fear the battlecry of the liberated sales associate, for it is one of might and valor.

To the question of whether we should better ourselves by pursuing such thongs, i mean things as a better job, a college degree, clean underpants, etc...I also answer no. I think that higher education is a scam. Why can't we work in retail, or do manual labor or work at a gas station for the rest of our lives? They seem to think that it is unacceptable to"settle" for jobs like that. If the job is decent and the boss is cool, why can't we just be comfortable. Jobs like that give us more free time to do the things that we enjoy, and to spend time with the people that we enjoy the most. And to read comics. But I think that the real question is this: "Can a squirrel be taught to do the Charlston?" Ain't No Woman Like The One-Eyed Moth. Love, Nova.

Hmmmmm, you make a good point, the charleston IS quite difficult for a squirrel to do, but perhaps we should look to the chipmunk. I agree on the retail account, i sell video games, have a cool boss, and make enough to have a tasty saltine for dinner every night. Why am i denied the "respect" of the establishment. Take your college degrees and shove them into thine pooperhole. or at least give me any extra philosophy ones, 8 am classes are killing me.
