Now that I've had a rest, and my headache has subsided, I can get into the general point of why work sucked so bad last night. generally the calls are quick, I can get the people on and off the phone in 2 minutes tops. Most of that time is taken up for me to read off this legally required, unessesary scripting. But I had a crazy little Asain lady last night, Miss Huang. What Miss Huang did was take part in a one year subscription for three magazines with a bill me later option. She then moved away, and told her landlord HE could keep the magazines as they came. Then a letter came requesting payment, and the landlord send a check in for the amount. Here's where it gets tricky. With this offer it stated on the letter that by mailing in a check and signing it, he authorized us to debit his checking account each year for the magazines for the renewal. but of course he chose to not read that part. So one year later, he gets a debit of like, several hundred dollars for these magazines under the name Miss Huang, and has no idea why. So then I get Miss Huang on the line, who wont even let me get a word in edgewise to explain how this happened. It too me 10 seconds to refund her, but 10 minutes to get her ass off the phone because she was squealing like a dying Shih Tzu, and wouldn't shut her mouth. it got to the point were I basically had to tell her that she needed to be quiet or I wasn't helping her, because she was that out of control. That's my story.
