"Hats, people aren't wearing enough of them."

Thanks for the lovely times, take care of that new inky-stuff on your swarthy SO.

ALWAYS welcome on my side of the river.
tygertyger:
Hey, it was great to meet you (insofar as I actually talked to you, which, sadly, was less than I would have liked). Tell the boy that I am rather wroth at him for giving us the runaround on the inking endeavour, though. tongue

Heh - at least next time we meet up, I won't have to wait around and hope he remembers to introduce you. biggrin

You know, you're right. Our money isn't anywhere near Monopoly-ish enough for my insane tastes. We also need some ladies on our currency. Brave, bold, intelligent, and face meltingly hot ladies.

I look ANGRY in my new profile pic!

I LOVE IT. biggrin

Siv can make anything--even faux wood panelling--look good.

(See my great, fire-engine red hair? i miss it. mmm hmmm)

I used to, on the Lomo site, but I think they have since been taken down. I have been too addicted to digital lately to keep up with old fashioned "film". But this prom seems like a good excuse to start it up again. smile

The new pic is good. I'm still working on mine. blackeyed

You live in a city your whole life, you think you know your surroundings. Then you get visitors. From out of town. Suddenly you have to think what they might want to see. This has always been difficult for me.

So I'm relying on this and this and my mom. blush

Siv, hedge what do you want to doooo?

After my rant, I've decided...

yeah, i was only there for 2 days, but GOD it was a great place and i want to go back and stay for longer, I only went cause we had a stop over on the way to hungary where I lived for a month.
deckwreck:
You know, as I was writing that essay, all I could think was "I wonder what my professor will think my life is like after reading this?" In reality, it was just the only thesis I could think of that related to the pieces I knew well enough to write an essay about. What does suck is that I ran out of time; I didn't get a chance to go into why all these authors portrayed women as weak and destructive. Ah well.

Hey kids. Ever thought about going into theatre? Well here are some tips. You may have to pick them out from in between my rants. Please excuse me.

*deep breath*

A director, giving notes--no matter how wacky you think they are, or how much you don't understand them, or how hard you have to work to get the director's approval--are NEVER a personal slight against...

I've now got a Bowie concert and a wedding to swing this month. Plus other stuff.

It's crazy on the finances. smile Adding another trip/hotel into the mix isn't going to make my accountant stop giggling any faster.

We'll see, mmkay? I've got Photogrrl online explaining right now that I simply have to come, and she's playing really dirty by pointing out that Cathedra is going to be there, because I love her and want to marry her. smile

But... but it's floor seats for Bowie. I cannot resist their siren song!

Dahling, I put the fashion into 'fashionista'.

Seriously.

Before I came along, those motherfuckers were just a bunch of istas.

Well you do. biggrin

Dogslife is looking forward to being introduced as "a guy I met on a porn site" almost as much as I'm looking forward to making the introduction. smile But it gets even better if I get to say "this is a couple I met on a porn site." Woo-ha! So you definitely must come and visit someday. I'll warn you - there's a scarcity of things to do here, although there is a splendid Thai place (a couple, actually), a wonderful Korean place, and a great sushi place (although that one's one city over, but still a short drive). No doubt scintillating conversation would take up the rest of the time.

I've done live sound and it terrifies me. Give me a nice studio and a digital editor and I'm a happy clam.

The entire concept of sound design for my old theatre company involved pretty exclusively asking the cast to pipe up and the band to pipe down.

That theatre is amazing! Where is that? It makes me want to own a ballgown. Thanks for your lovely comments on my set, it warms my heart! kiss

I was right. Creepy guy asked me out again. The worst part is, because he asks me out at work, I never feel I should mention I have a boyfriend. Because I know then he'll just turn around and say "Well I didn't mean it like that".

And I don't want to turn creepy guy down simply because I have a boyfriend. That might give...

"I don't date co-workers. Or people I don't like. Or people who aren't my boyfriend."

Then just walk away and let him figure it out.

Afterwards, join SG:NHS.

mmm, visiting makes me fat and sleek!!!! strawberry perogies!!!!

Just say, "Oh, I thought you meant like "putting your penis in my vagina. How silly of me!"

Creepy guy at work just got creepier. He already asks WAY too many questions and wants to know everything about everyone. I once went to the far bathroom and he met me as I was coming back to ask why I had gone there. He also walks like a stork (which earned him the name Big Bird (bb), and, moments before asking me out, told...
