Girls that want stability aren't looking for love, they are looking for money. You wouldn't ever want someone like that. If that's the life she really wants she will learn really fast that she will never be happy. As for your friend that keeps going back to the loser guy she probably has some emotional issues that she hasn't dealt with that make her yearn for the acceptance of a man even if it's a bad one. I've missed you too! Wow, you've had a lot to update since I've last been on here.
I just finished reading your journal entries that I missed. I'm sure everything will work itself out. Love conquers all in the end, right? You just have to go through a lot to get there. But Yuliya is very lucky to have you. It must be hard for her parents to let go; she sounds sweet. Plus, I'll tell you from a personal perspective, it's hard to grow up in one culture then have to adapt to American culture/standards of love, marriage etc. Maybe that's why her parents are having issues.
Have a wonderful beginning to 2005!!! And I hope you quit smoking. People like you need to be around for a long time dammit!!!!!
