I'm not tagging anyone because I'm afraid everyone and their mothers have already done it, but if you haven't and you want feel free to do it.
Therefore, I shall consider this to be a de facto tag and bore you all to death with more of my GiddyIguana brand Nonsense (TM).
So here are 20 random facts about me.
1. I am far more obsessed with my bed than any heterosexual male probably should be. Pure Beech sheets, Isoperfect mattress cover, and three pillows all make sure that I don't toss and turn all night or wake up with a sore back in the morning.
2. I'm borderline obsessed with foreign women. And no, I have no idea why.
3. Once upon a time, the GiddyIguana took three years' worth of piano lessons and played clarinet in the school band. Now, I couldn't play a note if my life depended on it.
4. I'm a recovering dork: I once ruled the debate team, chess club, spelling bee, geography bee, and trivia bowl team. I had the highest cumulative SAT score in my graduating class, and was even a cheerleader at Erskine. What the hell happened to me?
5. I can't be too vocal about my Marxist-Leninist ideals since I still may run for office myself one day.
6. If money were not an issue, I'd move to Dominica right now and open up my own coffee plantation.
7. I still miss my old pet eastern mud turtle, Pete.
8. I once lived in a haunted apartment on Hilton Head Island. When the manifestations first started, it had us really freaked out, but once we realized that the ghost had no intentions of actually harming us, he (she?) just came to be considered a fifth roommate (one who wouldn't pay his/her share of the rent, unfortunately.)
9. Once upon a time, the GiddyIguana was a devout Southern Baptist who would be in church any time the doors were open. (Yes, this was during my conservative/dork phase.) Now, I haven't been in any church since sometime around Easter, and in all honesty I'm not sure what I believe about all this religion stuff anymore. The more I learn, the more I realize that I don't really have a clue about anything.
10. I've been in love twice before...and I've lost touch with both of them since. 
11. My right knee is covered in scars as the result of two surgeries and countless injections of cortizone and artificial joint fluid, and it yet it still doesn't work right.
12. My left top lateral incisor is false. Thanks to another of my weird genetic flaws, I had a baby tooth there, but when it fell out, nothing grew in to replace it.
13. Although I am friendly towards nearly everyone I meet, I have never had more than five people at any given time that I'd really consider a "friend."
14. I despise seasons, which is why I really want to move somewhere in the tropics where there really aren't any.
15. I am far too fond of eating.
16. I secretly loathe my job.
17. I'm nowhere as affable as I pretend to be. I secretly wish most people would just leave me the hell alone. I prefer the company of my cat, my iguana, and my houseplants to that of most people.
18. I have a pretty serious case of ADD. In fact, as I write this I'm also reading other people's journals, checking out the other people here in the library, thinking about a couple of papers I have to write, and (just because I'm weird like that), looking at Brandi Chastain's official website. And yet somehow, I'm able to handle it all just fine. Better, in fact, than if all I was doing was writing this journal, since I get bored very easily.
19. I don't really have any idea what I'm going to do after graduation.
20. I am not a morning person.
