I need to post more than I do. More often than when a friend dies, though it's important when that happens.

My friend died. I'm very sad. I'm devastated.

If any of you out there have an informed opinion as to how to deal properly with YOUR (caps mine) best friend declaring his/her transsexuality, I'll politely ask for it now.

Because I, frankly, have no idea what to do.

I maintain a certain skepticism about the issue which troubles me. I don't want to think that it's all a ploy for attention, but... there we are. I believe that transgenderism is legimitate; I just suspect my friend is not truly a candidate for it.

How horrible is that?
