If anyone is looking for something to do tomorrow, "Transformers 3: Dark [Side] of the Moon" was awesome. I wasn't expecting much after the debacle that was "Transformers 2" but I was really blown away by this one. Good acting, decent script, lots of action and awesome special effects. This one even has John Malkovitch for about 10 minutes.

Well, it didn't so much "suck" as it did manage to tire me out more than it relaxed me and at my age the notion of a vacation is a LOT different than an 11-year-old's. That's why the Mrs. and I are working on getting away BY OURSELVES next year so we can do whatever we want or just relax.
Being part of this community has done wonders for my own self-image and it has slain in me at least one huge dragon in the realm of body issues. Well thank you, Lykke. It amazes me how much society can dictate to us about who and what we are supposed to be. Thank God for SG and places like it that have the guts to stare into the face of The Establishment and all that it attempts to tell us about ourselves and respond to all that deprecating propaganda with a resounding, "Says WHO?" I want to lose weight but I want to lose weight so I can be healthier and live longer, not so people will accept me. The right people already do.
