When they changed the format of the site a while back I really wasn't diggin' the changes at all. The site was clunky, it was hard to find stuff, some stuff just flat out disappeared... it was shit. Let's just put it out there. They took the best site on the Internet and turned it to shit overnight.
So I decided to stop paying for shit.
I got word from a couple different sources that things had gotten better around here so I decided to take the site for a test drive. Long story short: I'm back and I'm glad to be back. There is a different atmosphere here now (not so much tension over all the changes) and I really like what they've done with the place. I still think they should have beta tested a lot more of the new site options before thrusting it upon the unwashed masses, but hindsight is 20/20. In a lot of ways the site looks like the classic site again. There are still bumps that need to be smoothed out (the site still isn't even marginally responsive even though it's clearly designed as a mobile-dominant platform) but the content remains top notch and you can't beat the price. I also think it's cool how much easier it is to interact with folks. The follow vs. friend thing is a huge plus.
And BTW, I'm about 185 pounds lighter than I was then. Guess I might have to quit the Big Cuddly Boys group now. :-(
