So we're back form our mini trip. I'd love to say it was relaxing but between the horrible service at the hotel, the creaky, uncomfortable bed and the VERY demanding tweenager we are required to take with us everywhere, I feel like I need a break from my break. I didn't have a miserable time but I was hoping to at least have a chance to sit and enjoy some down time. Oh well, I guess that's what Maine exists for. We'll be there in about six weeks. :-)

awww..sorry the trip sucked, I know how disappointing that is
my trip to Hawaii last summer was totally ruined by the workers going on strike the day we got to the resort

Well, it didn't so much "suck" as it did manage to tire me out more than it relaxed me and at my age the notion of a vacation is a LOT different than an 11-year-old's. That's why the Mrs. and I are working on getting away BY OURSELVES next year so we can do whatever we want or just relax.
