damn bloody pic! heehee
the flu sucks my balls! *sigh* i've been sick for a solid week...pure nastiness of fever, cough, ick ick...
but i think i'm getting better now
hopefully.
friday i thought i was feeling up to having a few beers that evening...whoops, i was wrong! i had this lovely lovely evening with a friend...good conversation...saw a few other friends...then it all went downhill
...two beers, and i had to sneak off to the restroom at the yacht club in l5p and puke! i was rather embarrased...
so i guess don't try drinking when you're getting over the flu.
whoopsee!
it was a good night other than that though.
i did 4 2' x 4' paintings yesterday on chalkboard! it sounds weird i know, but i went to home depot and loaded up on slabs of wood, which i usually paint on..and then i saw these 2x4 ft pieces of green chalkboard..for like 3 bucks each! so i grab several, and they work fabulous! the surface is really smooth..and i used household oil-based paints on them...i love it!
when i have photos i'll post...
one more day of rest before i have to go back to work!

I also like to use household paints but recently switched to useing a polyurethane mixed with pigment. You get similer results but you have much more control over the range and quality of the colors. plus it will last much longer than household paints which are only designed to last for a couple of years. I don't know if theres any place around you that sells pigment but if your intrested at all there's two places in new york that will ship(I think)"Kremmer pigment" and "Guerra paint and pigment" both are in manhattan.
p.s. -hope you feal better
Hope you get well.
