My sister came into town a couple days ago and we went to the beach. Stopped at the local surf shop and chatted up the people there. I met the first board shaper I've ever found in the state.He's an awesome guy and said he'll make my board for me! I'm super excited about getting a custom longboard,it makes me squee in my pants!
Got invited to go surfing with everyone and to hang out at the shop and eat pizza with them.
Rented some longboards and hit the beach,my sister and I sat out there and made fun of each other,I caught a couple waves before the sets went flat.We headed in after the riptide threatened to suck us all the way down to the Keys if we weren't careful.Sprawling in the sun we watched the kite surfers give a low wind demo on a 19.5 ft kite. It was impressive,and I think they were impressed by the fact that my sister adn I didn't get up and move,even when the kite was three feet over our heads.
We stayed at the beach for hours,it's one of my favorite places.I feel so alove happy and calm out there.Sitting on my board and waiting for the perfect wave.

I got up today and went out to take care of my friends foal.Had a good time cleaning her and loving all over her,she's such an adorable horse.But man,it's so bloody hot here! What with the humidity and all it's gotta be a heat index of at least 100 degrees.

I'm back at la hacienda now and I'm getting ready to go to Utah.Packing some stuff,doing last minute laundry all that good stuff.

In other words,it's hot,and I'm dirty and stinky.I think I need to get these clothes off and take a shower.
