A shaman taught me a very nice protective visualization/meditation where you call on the archangel Micheal with his flaming sword with which he enscribes a circle around you... theres more to it and I don't recall all the details. If it sounds helpful to you I can look it for you.
The only time I can remember clearly and conciously encountering a ghost was when I had a visit from my deceased godmother. It was a beautiful experience. She was all light, golden and pink and moved in quantum leaps and spoke without words... more like shared understanding between us. It was quite amazing.
I would recommend you see a shaman for some energy work... cut the cords you have with any entities who are not searving you greatest good.

Not a very pleasant experience for me. There is a woman who was suppose to be able to read palms near me. I was about twenty two at the time. I went in with a friend of mine, she had gotten her palm read. Then the woman had asked if I wanted my palm read. So when I turned my palm over she looked at it, then started flipping out. She told me and my friend we had to leave. So I got pissed off and asked her what was wrong. She wouldn't say...finally I demanded and said I would spread the word to the papers that she was nothing more then a fraud. Well according to her my life line is well....I'm dead. I should not be walking the face of this earth. So I haven't really had anything done sense then. LOL
