I wear pants under my skirts and dresses.

not in that way we did in grammar school, at least not exactly. (and maybe no one else did, just me.)

I guess in a small, fractured way it's just like it was in the first grade. I wore pants/skirts then because I was an ultimate fighting tomboy uber-dyke in the making. I wore dresses to appease...

Clothes are ridiculous indeed. I've always thought it was a little unfair that it has become perfectly ok for a woman to wear "men's" clothes, but it's not, for the most part, socially acceptable for a guy to wear "women's" clothes. I'm perfectly happy with my jeans & tees, but I'm not sure if that's because I really like my wardrobe, or because I've been socially conditioned to think that that's what's appropriate for me. I dunno.

People are stupid. I need to move into a bigger city so I can be socially functional and still be a freak. Hopefully that won't be a problem, as I'm moving to Long Beach in a couple months. The LBC has it's fair share of freaks.

i love that words are so powerful and strong and beautiful and harsh and terrible and violent and amazing. i love people that can wield them in glorious ways, painting pictures and building universes and telling stories, destroying them again. its a gift, the ability to weave syllables and sentences together to create something that is tangible, something that people can feel, be touched by....

you make perfect sense...I love being a writer, romancing words, making verbs swoon, and pimpin metaphors.

that would be the St. vincent dePaul on 56th and tyler. but, sadly, this was a memorial day weekend sale. they are the best shop in town. at least in my opinion. i mean, it's hit or miss, but so is thrifting, right?

I'm rather concerned at the amount of hair I lose on any given day. When I'm in the shower, I pull out a rather extreme number of them and roll them up into a ball. I cannot detect any noticeable thinning or bald spots, but it alarms me nonetheless. I went through a dramatic hair phase that lasted several years wherein I would bleach and...

i used to have a huge problem with this and i just solved it within the last couple of months. i always keep my hair bleached, but i don't think that was it. i was eating really bad and taking crazy prescription meds. are u on any meds? i just started eating better and stopped taking the meds (which i guess isn't very smart) but i don't have the problem anymore.

how do u like tacoma? my sister lives up there.

alex trebeck (tribek?)

alex trebeck must die. I despise him. he is inarguably the most pompous ASS in recent history. and he's a canadian; beedy eyes and flapping heads and what not.

my venom stems from his overwhelming smugness. like we're supposed to believe that if he didn't have the answers on cards right in front of his face he'd still know EVERYTHING. as if...

as taboo as it might be to say this, I am waiting with baited breath for "the Pirates of the Carribean" to hit theaters. I think I'll make it ladie's night and get all my girls together for an evening of dinner and drinks and swashbuckling. for those of you who don't know, the film has Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom in tight pants. perhaps...

I'm reluctant to give Disney ANY kind of support as I think they are the best candidate for global domination and I feel they brainwash our children into horrible idiotic little slugs of mass consumption more than anyone or anything, but my hormones are screaming things about Johnny in eyeliner. and I don't even find Johnny attractive usually....

Actually, I'm on a sabbatical of sorts from TV- all I was seeing was crap and pictures of people dying and such. But thanks for letting me know just the same.

Good books, eh... anything by Merk Leyner is highly recommended.
