it seems i will NOT be relocating to the Bay after all.
good news for some, bad news for others.
decide amongst yerselves.
i'm both happy and sad-i was excited, but am ultimately relieved as well.
the Bay overwhelms me, as did the impending cost and the uncertainty of it all.
Sacramento has grown on me, and it's home as much as anywhere could be.
(for someone who has relocated nearly 30 times in her life, that's something.)
in addition, i like being debonair and interesting-a fair.to.middlin' fish in a medium pond.
in the Bay, everyone is more chic and sleek and flashy and fun.
small fish in a much larger pond.
vain, i know, but at least i admit it.
that just means that the Bay people must come to me.
