I was only in Philly for a total of twelve hours or so.
I will hopefully be up there again sometime soon. I miss the city and I especially miss all of you.

That's very honourable of you to commemorate your friend that way. I would love to see the pics. In spite of your reccent loss I hope that you have a happy Christmas. I'm sure she wouldn't want you to be glum on such a festive occassion.

My sweetie pre-ordered the WoW expansion for me for my birthday.

Well the reason it has so much weight is because a college education just shows that you passed all of the classes and graduated, a potential employer does not know exactly what classes you have taken and which you were good at. Plus there is no guarantee that you actually learned anything technical because so many colleges use varied classes to obtain the same degree and some technical schools are not acredited. Whereas having the cert shows that you knew enough to actual pass an industry standard exam that is specificly meant to test IT knowledge. I used to teach web design, networking, and computer hardware/software at a local college and I have seen first hand that some people can actually get a computer based degree and still not know anything about computers.

we did a bunch of things, mostly touristy stuff. went to valley forge and a few other things. check out thetallone's journal for a synopsis we were thinking of the art museum but it was a little out of the way of everything else and we didn't have a lot of time in the area. next time, though. we want to do the rocky run and i want to take him to standard tap.

Live Arcade Games: Uno, and Geometry Wars. Oh, and I got Dig Dug. I'm a sucker for Dig Dug.

I'll have more after the new year when I buy the camera and headset. You should totally join. It's worth it. You should look for the package deal at best buy where you get a year of gold memberships, the camera, the headset, two little games and some points. It's like 150 worth of stuff for 75. I'm getting that in a couple of weeks. You should get on, so we can play! I don't have any real friends on there yet.

I wish I had too. Hopefully if I keep staring longingly at the case at the store, one will appear.

Nothing happened physically, I just got tired of not getting any good games for it. There were probably 5 or 6 must have exclusives on the GC and they were all by Nintendo and all spaced about 6-10 months apart. Then, when they finally canceled Zelda to re-realease it as a Wii game, I got fed up and sold my system.

I know you're in Philly too!!! I hope to get to see you while I'm up there!! I just said the 2 of them, since that's where I'm staying!!

So yeah... I'm thinking about getting more social on the site than I have been (which is not at all other than the boards and groups) and maybe looking into joining SG Philly... Is it even very active? I saw the Group owner apparently hasn't logged on in over a month and doesn't really post much in the boards anyway. What's the skinny?
