Nice articles. I've seen 3 of those 4 films, and I admit to really enjoying "The Ten" and "Big Dreams Little Tokyo." "Red Road" didn't impress me. I was hoping for something else I guess.
If you haven't see it - check out "City in Heat" during the festival favorites. Similar plot to "The Big Chill" but much funnier and better music (in my opinion).

I got a gig today writing game reviews for a website Spewgilist. I answered an ad on craigslist and wrote up a review and got it posted in one day. Not too shabby. I'll get free games and passes to conventions.

Congrats on the new place. Moore room is great...until you start buying more stuff to fill that space. Bleh, I always seem to do that, then wonder where all the extra room went. Packing sucks. And there's always something last minute to pack that takes forever to do.

My wife needs to hire a front office person/ secratary. Too bad you live so damn far away! Good thing your power supply didn't spike and fry everything else. I'v had that happen about 4 times.
As I haven't heard anything about the job and I was told they'd make their decision by yesterday I'm pretty sure I didn't get it. Thanks for the good luck wishes though. I'm going to be officially laid off on the 22nd apparently. Time to lower my standards.

Just because you lower your standards for the time being, doesn't mean that you are lowering them for good. Trying to find a lesser job for now doesn't mean it is a bad thing. Take whatever you can, and keep looking for something better to come along!!
