Why do old people always talk about Jesus?
like I got nothing against people having faith...
in religion or whatever....
cool good for you... big thumbs up....
but like why do old people like grandparents or just someone old who's close to you in some way...
they say things like this....
Every day.... you pray to jesus, and everything will be ok....
like it's advice or something....
you believe in jesus and you'll be fine....
I don't care that they believe I think it's great it helps them.... but what kind of fucking advice is that?
Not to mention.... whenever I hear that....
I'm not asking for advice....
it's just like... someone old telling me that god and jesus will be there to save me....
and I know it's not just me that this happens to....
I know damn well these crazy old people tell it to other people as well....
I suppose it's kind of cute.... but I hate cute things...
got nothing against Jesus....
But I'm pretty sure if some guy is beating me up...
the ghost of Jesus isn't gonna come down and give the guy a kung fu chop....
and I know it works for them.... but thinking about Jesus doesn't make me feel stronger.... it doesn't help.
it makes me feel bad for Jesus... and makes me mad at Today's church... and a whole lot of other unpleasent things..... and how terrible people treat eachother....
again... not like I mind religious people or having faith...

i'm not religious, and have nothing against the people who are, but i sometimes wish that they would just keep it to themselves. one of my friends is a jesus freak, but he knows better than to bring it up around me...i guess thats all i have to say about that...
may jesus be with you...
I think that's humanity's downfall....
they believe too much in anything....
their belief in even small everyday things make them do ridiculously stupid things....
insecurities etc etc....
I think people need to believe less....
and think less....
and think more....
and just let go....
and just smile....
before they die alone and bitter....
