Five-minute fiction - 13:35-13:40
There was a scream, there was always a scream. People tended, despite their best efforts not to, screamed. However, Grim supposed the woman had every right to, after all who wouldnt have screamed when two dark figures burst in through the window with knives and swords drawn. The scalding hot water had been a little much though, and the back scrubber had hurt.
Im sorry! Grim said as he backed away from the still screaming woman. We went in through the wrong window! Well pay for the damages, can you please just stop screaming!
And waving that brush about? Darker said.
They had been sent to the wrong building that much was obvious. Either accidentally or on purpose that was still to be decided by at the moment it wasnt much of a concern. The woman was angry, quite angry, but she was a small concern, an immediate one, but a small one. The problem would invariably come from her hulking husband, bruising brother, or some other alliterate combination. Grim did not want to meet any of them, but without thinking the woman had shuffled in front of the window, the only escape.
