Malady? Darker said flipping through the sheets of paper scattered on the table.

The smaller of the two men squatted in the opening of the only other piece of furniture in the small office, a battered wooden hutch. The doors, or so called doors as they in many ways did not resemble doors other than their location in on hutch, were wide and Grim rummaged among the bottles stashed in the cavity.
I know what it means, why did you choose it?
Dont know. Sounded better than just Grim, dont you think? I mean, I certainly dont have the presence to strut around with one name. What do you take me for some kind of show-off?
The knife thudded into the hutch inches from where Grims had sat. He turned at looked at the so one-named, Darker, and grinned.

...and how do you manage to do it so quickly? I have done a bit of writing in the past, and it's always been an excruciating experience for me, haha.
