So I figured it was time to put a proper post up...And I figured the best way to start this blogging experience is with an introduction of myself and a short review of my 2011...

I guess first off is my passion with music...I love to play it and I love to teach it. I teach high school drummers...I've been doing this for many years and It has always given me great satisfaction showing kids new skills and life lessons. This past fall my drummers had a new experience of not just being drummers but being performers and playing a role in their field show which was "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West" they played the part of the flying monkeys...




Their "costumes" and performances drew much praise and made them exceedingly happy which of course is why I do it...we also we the extra step to match the drums to the show...




Green of course being the operative color for the show.

Another favorite of mine is being out on the water...





and nighttime is a great time to be out on the water...the peacefulness and the beauty of sky are unmatched


Now to introduce my best friend Yaz...




Yaz is quite the character, she is 12 years old, bald on her body from a condition called Canine Cushings canine cushings

she has also lost all of her teeth except for one bottom canine and one top canine...she's a trooper though and loves life. So due to her not having any hair on her body she gets to dress in a variety of clothes...it is usually quite humorous to see her and I together as I am a large straight male with a little gay dog in clothes...but what is life without its humor...





I also enjoy doing "Man" stuff, such as building things and such here is a bar that I have been building for a buddy of mine in the mancave that I have been building for him...



It's actually the third bar I have built...I've actually considered bar building as a future hobby...So I like DIY type of stuff.

I am also decently adept at cooking...Grilling being my strongest area but I can also make a mean ass four layer triple chocolate cake...



Traveling is something I love to do though I haven't had the chance lately...I have had the pleasure of being drunk in 7 countries and 13 states...I will have to do a Europe trip blog one day as I have some great pictures from that experience.
