Hmm, so, yes... the last few days have been pretty normal. I went to the local 'night club' where they play, what I am somewhat dubiously informed is 'music'. Sadly I just didn't feel the boogie so decided to call it a night. Which was a shame because I've had a few good nights there despite the audio-butchery.
I also re-re-rediscovered Neverwinter Nights... man that game has replay value. I thought I'd bled it dry but it turns out there are some pretty cool servers keeping the game alive so geeked it up online for a while.
Work was passable, there were no crazy people and it wasn't too busy. I couldn't summon my superhuman hyperactivity so I couldn't zone out in a frenzy of bubbles and dishes like I normally do but because it was a slow few days people were in pretty talkative moods. Which was nice. I think I may even miss it a little bit once I go to uni. (Zomg! only two more weeks etc.)... Hmmm
On the topic of uni I need a new laptop, one that works when unplugged from the mains (the battery is fucked on my current laptop). I was thinking about getting an apple but I want to keep up my photography (and maybe even earn a bit of cash that way) while I'm studying so I'd need to get a powerbook and they're damn pricey. The Dell Vostro range looks okay, they're supposed to be for small businesses but what do they know? On the other hand it's a Dell and so will probably be made from the bones of small children and come with 1-trillion gigs of junkware.
