Work is still shit. I'm tired of the new guy shouting questions to me across the room. Questions about stuff he ought to know with his fancy pants double master's degrees.
Squee is still healthy and even happier because one of my new roommates plays with him all the time.
My roommates are pretty kick ass and that makes me really really happy.
What doesn't make me happy is that I lost someone really important to me yesterday. He may or may not come back but it hurts all the same. My mother was not helpful in the least bit. Really, she's horrible at comforting me when it comes to this stuff. Her advice this time was to throw myself into my work. I think my work is usually what gets me in trouble.
Have I mentioned I really really hate my job? I'm applying to others. We'll see.
