She's totally awesome. She has a Jack Russel terrier/dachshund named Ozzie. When Squee first met him he was all, "OMG! What is that thing!" But then they sniffed each other (although Squee didn't seemed so thrilled to have his butt smelled). I had another appointment after her but said I'd let her know that night. The other woman turned out to be too high maintenance and thankfully said the place is too small. Any way, when I told new roomie she was in, she was really excited. She came by yesterday to sign the roommate agreement and give me a deposit. I'm very excited and relieved to have finally found a roommate.

And that you might have a good laugh here is a list of the people who looked at my place:

1. Boston Accountant: Seemed to really like it, seemed nice; explained his housing situation was unsure as he moved here to be with his girlfriend and things are now rocky. He said if he didn't have housing by September, he'd call. Zoom to next day and he text message me to say thanks for showing him the place. He then proceeds to hit on me. What an idiot.

2. Russian dude. Quiet, didn't ask any questions really.

3. Parrot guy. I was going to go with him but he never returned my calls.

4. Lying kid: Tells me he has a puppy, but then confesses he's going to get a puppy. He also asks if I'm OK with pot. Now, he responded to my add, which specifically stated, "NOT 420-friendly."

My friend's birthday party was fun until her best friend realized she'd been towed. I took her to get the car back but we got jerked around. In the end she got it back with $60 taken off because her boyfriend had dumped her the day before. Yay for boobs!
