First off, thanks to all those who replied, but especially baudot, Jeremy and garagedelfuego.
I didn't go out with the old dude last night. I talked to him Wednesday and everything seemed OK. He wasn't being weird and squirrelly. Then I get to work yesterday and manager tells me the bartender for the night shift called out sick. I'm the only bartender who can work. So I called Matt and told him I had to work. He seemed understanding.
I ended up spending the night pigging out on pizza and ice cream with RS. We messed around and went to bed by midnight. It was fabulous.
In other news, I'm really annoyed with people from my past trying to reconnect with me, especially those people I cut out of my life for a reason.
For instance, I woke up at 3 a.m. because I realized my poor lap top's fan had been running since I went to bed. I got up and shut down any programs to see why she was freaking out. My guess is it was from the IM I received from the guy who got me into SG. Now while I value the friendship we had, he ruined it. I cut him out for a reason. In 2005 (OMG two years ago!) he tried to get with me. I don't mean he asked me out. He tried to convince me to shower with him. When I said no, he tried taking off my clothes. When I still refused him, he tried to get into the bathroom while I was in the shower (he was my best friend's roommate which is why I was showering there). It was all passive aggressive so it's nothing horrible. I also wasn't completely innocent. I'm sure I led him on because hell I like attention. But that's the reason I cut him out of my life. It wasn't good for either of us.
So he IMs me saying he's engaged to his former fuck buddy. My thoughts are he told me they weren't compatible enough for a relationship how the fuck is he getting married to her?! But I honestly don't care. If he wants to fuck up more, go right ahead.

Boys will tell you what they want you to hear, Darlin'. There's a good chance he always was compatible enough with her, but he wanted to keep his options open with you.
