So, Im in the teeth of the great homework beast. Last weekend the wife and I had a babysitter for this first time in a long time. It was great. We went to see a play, The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) It was great and much less cerebral than it sounds. Which since I spend my days playing silly games with symbols on paper (AKA Math) and writing software, I tend to go for escapism in my entertainment.

Spending all that time last week-end getting ready for the sitter and actually going out put me behind again. Thankfully, it looks like the homework isnt that hard this week.

Anyway, on to more exciting stuff. My profile says that I have no body mods save a little road rash and surgery scars. Ive also sorta wanted to get some but never really felt like it was the right time because of the professional constraints placed on me. However, I will (hopefully) be going back to school full time next year so Im considering it again. My criteria are:

1) Must be hidden
2) Must be removable (so a piercing) or forgivable (small tat)
3) Must be liked/tolerated by the Missus
4) I would hate to get squicked out and not be able to go through with it.

So, my thoughts center on piercing something fun. Nipple maybe. Im worried about below the belt because of 4 above. Half a PA would suck.

Or, a geeky tattoo. Like getting e^(pi*I) + 1 = 0. Thats forgivable and coverable.

Anyway, thoughts?
