My parents flew into town last night. This is the first time mom has ever been to the west coast, and only the second for dad. They put their stamp of approval on the apartment and The Roomie.

Nothing to report... really.
It was a rather quiet evening. I went out and enjoyed a nice birthday dinner, which I washed down with a nice birthday beverage.

Stupid man, not men I suppose..I'm not usually induced into such bigoted rants...I don't know if i'm going to have to cut my man loose..It's possibly the final straw in a looong story but to shorten it, I just found out (via the classiest of mediums, facebook) that he lied to me; this weekend he was in fact out partying with his old housemates... documented by a ton of pictures of him grinning with his arms round them. Wouldn't ordinarily be an issue aside from the fact he told me he was playing computer games at a mates and that said mates comprise of one girl, would've smacked me in the face for no reason (other than that she tried it on with my man before we got together, got the knockback (or so he says I no longer know what to believe!) and has had a vendetta against me ever since, the titless witch!) and another girl who took great delight in making snipy bitchy comments at me for months, right under his nose. He allegedly didn't 'realise'. It all came to a head after they'd all chipped away at my self worth for months, the first girl tried to knock me flat on my birthday, so I refused to see them again. He made out he was pissed off with them, wasn't gonna talk to them etc., because of how they've treated me...this facade goes on, then i see these pictures. I'm being taken for a total mug, surely?! And now i'm waiting for him to get back to his house (he's spectacularly late to top it all and i'm just sitting it out shaking i'm so pissed off and betrayed) so he can talk to me in person. Which is going to make things better how? I'm so sorry this is such a doubtless incoherently and poorly written rant i'm just seething and gutted at the same time.
