Again, thanks to dmac for asking the questions that led to this blog.
Here we go...
1. Does the fact that you've never done something before increase or decrease its appeal to you?
That depends. If we're talking about a recreational activity that is bound to be fun and exhilarating, then the appeal is increased. I had never been white water rafting until a few... Read More
One thumb only. It's a valiant effort to go back to what made them great but the infection is way too big, you can still hear Load and Reload and even St. Anger in their music. It's true that when you put black and white together and you get grey, you can never break them apart again.
The cartoonist is called Trino Camacho. He's local, and mostly apolitical, so his work is probably not very well known outside of Mexico.
ohhh Thanks you so much!! I've just read your so pretty comment on my first set <3 Sorry if I don't read and answer it before. Thanks for your support!
I hope you'll not cancel your account
Last blog, I asked for questions to get my brain moving. I didn't get too many responses to that. Only one, actually. dmac not only asked a question, she picked up the slack for at least one other person by asking two questions... two good ones at that...
1. If given the choice between the super power of flight or invisibility,... Read More
Yeah, the midwest work ethic is a bitch. There does seem to be something of a generational perspective on this. Many, MANY of the 20-somethings in my office are proud to admit their laziness and their commitment to doing as little as possible to get by. They are also, incidentally, the biggest whiners when they don't get fantastic raises and can't understand why they're not being better paid. Drive me crazy.....
Okay, next batch of questions
Does the fact that you've never done something before increase or decrease its appeal to you?
How do you react when people sing "Happy Birthday" to you in a restaurant?
If you could choose the manner of your death, how would you exit this life?
Ask me questions, people. I feel the need to blog something, but I have no topics at hand. Or maybe it's too many things swirling around my little walnut brain to focus on any one thing? Not sure...
Focus my thoughts. Ask me anything... help me get the words flowing.

I think it's all over the place, but it doesn't suck as bad as the other one they released "Cyanide". That one's just disgraceful.
I bought it on iTunes and I'm a little disappointed, it just feels like I've heard it before, like they took a bunch of songs and put them in a blender.
It reached 101 degrees in Portland today... fuck...me... it was hot.
It's still hot.
It's gonna be hot the rest of the freakin' night.
That's the bitch of Portland. Summer is never really bad enough to really warrant A/C... all except for a week in the beginning and a week in the end. Those are the times you wish you had it, but you... Read More
"She didn't make me miserable, or anxious, or ill at ease. You know, it sounds boring, but it wasn't. It wasn't spectacular either. It was just good. But really good. "
"It would be nice to think that since I was 14, times have changed. Relationships have become more sophisticated. Females less cruel. Skins thicker. Instincts more developed. But there seems... Read More
"I'm dead as dead can be,
My doctor tells me.
But I just can't believe him,

When last I blogged, my continued involvement with the band was in question. I've decided to give it another go before giving up. I'll cite one of our few common influences and the diversity of one of their records when I bring my songs to... Read More
"And if the band you're in starts playin' different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon."
I need to give myself a little more time before I make an absolute decision, but I think it's better off for everyone involved if I walk away from the band. I need a project that I can sink my teeth into, heart & soul...... Read More
It sounds like you ordered the moon and got delivered cheese on this one. Time to move on to projects that feed you in better ways. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I actually can't take credit for the term "hobo tooth". In all fairness, I need to give that creative accolade to my friend Jay. Ascribe royalties accordingly when your band hits the big time.
