So, here I am in Germany now ... settled, got a place to live, even a new hopeless romance ... enjoying life now ...
...but how does this site function, anyway? Can anyone clarify that for me? I see all you with friends and writing back and forth ... reminds me of Lao Tzu: "All the people are so shining bright..." And then there's me... so what gives? Can one of you show me the ropes?
Last time I was active here, I didn't really find a way to get into things ... anyway, I'll be in Paris during the SG get-together visiting a friend, so perhaps we can all get to know one another then.

And the best way to get around here, I suppose, is go leave comments for other people and they'll come back and visit you and leave you comments ... and then people will ask to be your friend ... posting on the boards doesn't hurt either.
