Well if anyone is keeping score, I finally got rid of my convertible that wouldn't quit leaking, on Friday. They ended up giving me more than I paid for the thing, in the end, which is pretty rad. I got one of these instead.
I probably should have bought a different brand of car, but I ended up getting an extra $3,000 for buying another one from them, on top of the really good deal I pillaged from the dealer on the car. Also the only other car I wanted was Jeep, and they get pretty abysmal gas milage.
I'm just glad it's finally over. It was a six month process, so to be perfectly honest, I earned the extra money.
Emm. The holidays are sneaking up on us. And by "sneaking up on us", I of course mean that the stores are already bludgeoning us with Kristmas Krap. I was in Target earlier, and accidentally wandered by the Xmas displays, whereupon I was assaulted by the stench of pretend cinnamon. Since when does cinnamon = Xmas?
It has actually been fairly cool here lately. It actually only managed the 60's early this past week!
