so my mom brought by a box of "keepsakes" for me the other day. she has saved these things from my childhood, it's sweet. it contained all my old dolls, some were very old wooden and ceramic dolls passed on to me from my grandmother. when i was a little girl i loved horses...and she had saved my little breyer horse i carried around with me everywhere. Oh!!! and the best thing in there was my favorite dress from when i was 4, 5 years old, i wore it constantly. it is this cheesy, long 70's dress with big lions, dogs and tigers printed all over it! i actually remember the dress. i was a confused tomboy...i would dress up, and then go outside to play in the dirt and mud, and climb trees. Ha!!

i haven't really changed much since then! i am unique if nothing else..this is for certain.

i took today off from work and i am going to try to go through some more of my boxes being stored in the basement. i have two house-mates and the house is already full, so i am trying to filter through my things. some i will leave in storage, and other things i could use. i would like to have more of my furniture upstairs being used, but one of my housemates was being a jerk about it, saying he didn't want HIS things in the basement. aggravating!!
oh, well..we'll see what happens.

i'm off to get an ice cream cone before i get back to work on the boxes.
