Passed PALS today!!!!

Freakin' happy as Hell!! One more big ,huge, scary skill behind me.

Truely... from here on out it's pretty much down hill.

Lots of Incident Command, Haz-Mat, and Weapons of Mass Destruction classes left.....but I've already been doing that thru the Fire Dept for years now... So, Most/All of the real heavy medical stuff is behind me!!

Started Pediatric Advanced Life Support today!! PALS is scaaaaary. Kiddos(SICK kiddos) are scaaaaary too!! One run I hope to never catch!! Class continuing... moving forward, ever forward. Just hanging in there and pray for class/clinicals to be done with... looking forward to starting ride time.... that'll be when the real learning starts!!!

I finished my ED clinicals for paramedic class today!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am still less than half way thru clinicals..... but the E R ones were the bulk/largest group due.

I can ALMOST see a light at the end of the tunnel.............. Almost!!

well.. just when ya bitch about something to make yourself feel better.... it'll turn around and suprise the hell out of you. I had a really interesting clinicla today. Got to do transcutanious pacing on a pt. And an intubation. So, maybe it's only SOME clinical days that suck ass....... biggrin

Goddamn I hate clinicals!! I did a 12 hour shift in a local hosptial ER today for my medic class requirements........ All I can say is..."that's 12 hours of my life I'll never have back again!!" Whatta waste of my time. Wish I was doing ride time with a street medic...... THEN I might actually have a good learning experance.
