the skin on my right thumb has fully shed and is now a layer of incredibly smooth and glossy version of its previous self. my thumbprint is barely visible anymore. i can feel far less with it though. this i find, is oddly amazing.
the sudden evolution of skin is a result of my rather new job, as a dishwasher. dealing with hot water and hot pans 6 hours a day manual labor has taken its toll. but its pretty cool how fast people adapt. how fast the skin adapts to constantly being dried up from all the hot water. or how fast a mind learns to cope with changing times.
you see, i would, at this point, consider myself a failed artist. meaning i went to study arts but now at this current point in time, do not have a job related to "the industry". but the fact is, i know i'll make due. i'll survive on my own. and i will because i believe so. i'm one of those people who truly believe anyone is capable of anything if they believe so, and act on their believes.
so what do you believe in?
