If he really wants to be a part of your life as something other than a booty call he'll make the trip, sleep on the couch (or a different place entirely) like it and not just enjoy it, but revel in the chaos that is your schedule.

I have one of those "friends". He lives just over 2 or so hours away from me. But get this. I've known him for over 6 years now, but I've never met him face to face. Sure, we've skyped, and we've kept in touch, but I so badly want to meet him. I have all the time in the world... Just no gas.

And thanks for your comments. I feel stupid, but I felt like I had a winner. And he lost it, quite possibly having had cheated on me too. It hurts, but we women are so much stronger than the men give us credit! Hang in there sweetie, there IS someone for everyone out there, I honestly believe it still.

Haha, yeah I'm far away from my folks, too! Feels good, doesn't it?

We're plotting now. Thinking maybe Cedar Point in Ohio. We're suckers for amusement parks.
Then, perhaps the Grand Canyon. Love hiking and climbing. Haven't ironed out the details yet. We may just say "fuck it" and fly by the seat of our pants.

I can't agree more, about the hugs and cuddles. Actually worked out today for the first time with my buddy, and his wife, what happens when we get back, yep, there they are cuddling on their couch. It's strange how much I miss that.

I am of the firm belief that we are where we are for a reason. While for certain the sum of our choices have delivered us to where we are there is something to be said for the lessons we've learned. Applying them is a completely different story however, but let me start by saying that NO man is ever out of YOUR league. You don't need a partner to complete your identity they simply augment it. And I know people with their Masters degrees thinking why the hell didn't I get my doctorate.
We will always have "what ifs" perhaps the better question to ask yourself is "What now?" Don't let your past hold you back, focus on the things you want in life, figure out the steps to get there and then bludgeon you way to them if need be. You are to beautiful and intelligent to second guess yourself. It is a rare combination use it to your advantage.

I can relate, down sizing here has me working less and less. Riding my bike to work just to save on fuel costs which are just too damn much. Hope your job hunt goes well, I'm looking too, but I'm a little to introverted to look into bar/service kind of work.
